Healthcare workforce grants awarded (Black Hills Pioneer)
PIERRE - The South Dakota Healthcare Workforce Partnership Fund has awarded its first round of grants. Six health facilities and a social services agency will share $67,312 in grant funds to support workforce projects ranging from online education centers to camps that allow high school students to explore health careers. The U.S. Army today opened the Army Experience Center (AEC), a state-of-the-art educational facility where visitors can virtually experience many aspects of Army life.
