Verizon Funds Native American Program to Help Prevent Domestic Violence in California Tribal Communities (PR Newswire via Yahoo! Finance)

The California Indian Museum and Cultural Center will create an online education course funded by a $99,000 Verizon grant to teach young Native Americans ways to avoid becoming victims or perpetrators of domestic violence.

China Distance Education Holdings Ltd., a provider of online education and test preparation courses, plans an initial public offering of American Depositary Shares, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing on Monday.
